This week is National School Lunch Week. President John F. Kennedy created National School Lunch Week (NSLW) in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child's life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom. Thank you to our amazing staff who work hard each day to feed our Jr. Seahawks. 💙🤍. #BelieveImagineSucceed

IMPORTANT: Please see the below statement from Worcester County Board of Education President, Todd Ferrante.
"In light of the joint letter recently received by the Worcester County Board of Education from the Worcester County State’s Attorney and Sheriff’s Offices indicating concerns regarding school safety, the Board convened a special meeting at the earliest opportunity as the safety and security of our students and staff is the number one priority of both the Board and school system staff. This meeting occurred on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, where the Board heard the concerns from our county law enforcement officials during a closed session, and at the direction of the Board, school system leadership is currently investigating those concerns.
The Board of Education will hold another special meeting on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. at the Board of Education office to hear the findings of the school system’s investigation into these matters. More information about this meeting can be found on our website, www.worcesterk12.org.
At the conclusion of the October 10, closed session meeting, I anticipate being able to make a public statement specifically addressing the allegations in the letter we received while maintaining the privacy of any students and personnel referenced. We take matters of safety and security very seriously as we strive to ensure that our school system community rests assured that our schools are safe centers for learning."

Mid-Terms are being issued today. Please be sure to check your student's backpacks! #3RsBIS
