As part of their study of We Are the Ship by Kadir Nelson, which celebrates the rich history and legacy of the Negro Baseball Leagues, students had the incredible opportunity to meet Pedro Sierra, former Negreo League player from 1954-58,

Students in Mrs.DiMare and Mrs. Vit’s reading classes painted kindness rocks today. They will be placed in front of Tidal Health’s building in Ocean Pines (Oncology unit) for patients to take with them, to spread joy and kindness. #3RsBIS

Spotlight on 6th grade Jr. Seahawk, Presley. She recently returned from the World KidWind Challenge after advancing through her first-place finish in Maryland. During the event, she had the opportunity to present her project directly to judges, participate in STEM knowledge challenges, and collaborate with students from around the world who share a passion for science, engineering, and renewable energy.
