LAST House Challenge of the Year is in full swing! Let's support our Veterans and Diakonia!

Music-making is in full swing this Spring! 5th General Music students began their African Drumming Unit, developing proper hand drumming technique and composing 4-beat ostinato patterns. 6th Grade General Music students completed their Rhythm unit with a group project featuring layered sticking parts and unison body percussion sections. 5th Grade Theatre wrapped up an amazing run of “Summer Camp!” and 6th Grade Theatre is in their final days of rehearsal for “The Lion King, Kids!” with performances on 4/14 and 4/16. And don’t forget Chorus— our 4 sections are staying focused as they work towards mastery of the melodies and harmonies in their Spring Concert Music for May 5th. These halls are sounding great, musicians!

The King Has Returned! Public ticket sales are now OPEN for BIS’ 6th Grade Musical Theatre production of The Lion King, Kids! Our show will be held next week on Tuesday, April 14th and Thursday, April 16th. Reserve your tickets now by calling the BIS front office. Tickets are $5 each and the show will be about an hour long. Spread the word to your friends and neighbors— Hakuna Matata!
