In recent weeks, Amayah was hospitalized at John’s Hopkins for a health condition she battled her entire life. Amayah passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 2nd from heart failure. Amayah will be remembered for her love of art, especially drawing and tracing, her quiet presence, and all things purple, pink, and red!
