This is our last week for the BIS/Boken Food Drive. Help us fill the Sonrise Church Food Pantry by bringing in unexpired canned and nonperishable foods through November 22nd. Drop off in bins in the Office Hallway. The House that collects the most food items will win House Points!

Joy Harjo is an American poet, musician, playwright, and author. She served as the 23rd United States Poet Laureate, the first Native American to hold that honor. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is a member of the Muskoke Nation. She has won many awards for her writings. Harjo also played saxophone and was a vocalist with her own band, Poetic Justice.
