Many thanks to our BIS community for your flexibility and grace today as we shifted to Virtual Learning. In light of the announcement by WCPS regarding virtual learning days on our scheduled half days 1/23 and 1/24, BIS will use the following schedule.
Teachers look forward to seeing students online at 8 am. Please remember that we understand some have challenges with connectivity. Students who cannot connect will not be penalized and will have opportunities to participate when we return! Schoology and Dojo are both great resources for students and families to communicate with teachers.
As road conditions are anticipated to worsen overnight and due to the previously scheduled early dismissal days, WCPS will hold virtual learning days on January 23rd and 24th. Students should log-on to Schoology according to their regular schedule. All afterschool, evening, and Adult Education classes are cancelled.

- All students should log-in to Schoology at their regular reporting time. Middle and high school students will follow their regular schedules, and elementary students should log in to their homeroom for more information from their teacher.

Today we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr day. One of the very best ways to commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is to keep faith in Dr. King’s vision every day of the year.
Remember to keep your child home if they are contagious. When your student is absent from school, remind them to coordinate with their teachers to get work they missed.
