Yesterday was National IT Professionals Day and we missed the chance to shout out our amazing Tech Coach, Mrs. Thompson. She helps to keep us moving at BIS every day. Thank you, Mrs. Thompson.

Picture day is September 30th. Orders can be placed online in advance.

Using strategies from Building Thinking Classrooms, math enrichment WIN students collaborated at the white boards to calculate the cost of their names. Productive struggle and teamwork are the name of the game! #3RsBIS

The House with the most spirit will win the first 100 points of the year! Returning students, dress in House colors and bring your positive attitudes. New Jr. Seahawks should wear BIS colors as the House will choose them. #3RsBIS #6houses1school

Absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year. Half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school. See you Monday morning prior to 7:35 am.
