At BIS, we are Rocking our Socks for World Down Syndrome Day. Thank you to our community for making it possible to provide every student and teacher with a pair of colorful, mismatched socks. Under a microscope, a pair of chromosomes look like a pair of socks. Since people living with down syndrome have an extra 21st chromosome, wearing mismatched socks is the traditional way to celebrate this special day. #3RsBIS
